ET uses split offset optics with dual channel processing from twin dual
element sensors. Output from each channel is monitored by a dedicated
high-speed microprocessor which compares the signals for mass,
speed, timing and direction, so ET can distinguish between human
targets and other random sources of infrared energy. ET will reliably
tolerate hostile environments while still exhibiting razor sharp response
to intrusion. ET will also tolerate small animals and rodents without
false alarms, but is not recommended as a pet exclusion sensor.
Temperature compensation is microprocessor auto sensitivity adjust. Multifacet
120 degree white filtered lens with 14 metre adjustable range.
